How far along: 33 Weeks!
Total weight gain: 18 pounds
Maternity clothes? Well I can still wear my regular jeans, but that doesn’t mean they’re comfortable… lots of yoga pants for this girl since I usually don’t have anyone to impress 😀 Since we moved from Florida, all I’ve got now are long sweaters, fall dresses, and tights packed, which will hopefully tide me over through December and I can escape without buying maternity clothes!
Stretch marks? Not yet.
Sleep: I haven’t slept nearly as well this pregnancy. We have a blanket that basically stays on the couch 24/7 because I catch a little nap there every now and then. But either I am not tired at bedtime and go upstairs around 1am, or I go up around 9pm and I wake up all night long. Either way I have to get up with the dogs around 6:30 am [at the latest]. And to add to the inability to sleep, just wrapped up a PCS [military move] and slept on an air mattress for a week. Just ignore my zombie-like resemblance the next few weeks. I guess this is just preparing me for the sleep deprivation in my future, right?
Best moment this month: This month has been the calm before the storm. Things were a little crazy, considering we were living in an empty house and sleeping on an air mattress, and moving to North Carolina in four days where we don’t know when we’ll have a house to live in. So I would say relaxing with the hubby and Mitchell was a highlight. Mitchell has been growing up so much and amazes me everyday. He constantly has us laughing. I can’t wait to see him become a big brother. And watching my husband graduate EOD School, and now have time to relax together finally.
Miss Anything? My pre-pregnancy body. Can’t wait to pop her out and start walking and getting back to normal. And eventually start working out but we’ll just start with not being pregnant.
Movement: I’m about 95% sure she is more active than Mitchell was.
Food cravings: Nothing unusual really. Most days I’ll eat a big meal thinking I’m super hungry, and then I am full for the rest of the day.
Anything making you queasy or sick: I spent my second trimester dealing with my first experience with morning sickness. I thought I was passed it until it made a brief reappearance at the beginning of the third trimester. Which subsequently popped every little tiny blood vessel on my face. I joke that Mitchell is the current favorite child right now, but Julia is kind of at a disadvantage right now being that all she’s good for is kicking me and making me sick 😉
Labor Signs: Nope.
Symptoms: Except the typical feeling huge that goes along with growing a baby, nope.
Belly Button in or out? Flat.
Wedding rings on or off? On!
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy! I’m not even stressed, even with the move and a huge California trip and a housing wait list to worry about. I probably should be, but we’re just going with the flow.
Looking forward to: Making a trip out to California to spend Thanksgiving with Steve’s family!
