This girl has a way of making me feel like it’s Julia’s world and we’re all just living in it. Something inside of her gives me absolutely no doubt that she could run the world one day if she wants to. Two nights ago we were laying in bed and she rolled over and told me, “Mommy, Lacey likes butterflies. But I like spiders because they can eat you, Mommy.” And then off to sleep she went. And then last night? She rolled over and told me, “Mommy, thank you for my new shoes. They make my heart so happy!” She’s all over the map I tell ya. Her independent moments are so full of independence, and her sweet moments are so sweet. We’re never quite sure what kind of excitement Julia is going to bring, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
But if you happen to see us in the commissary on a spider-will-eat you kind of day, just ignore the cold shoulder and focus on smiley Aubrey. This girl’s mood is as unpredictable as they come! But boy, do we love you, Julia!
