Our Home

Ever try moving three times in one year? Better yet, ever tried moving into your new home and giving birth on the same day? I don’t recommend it. It exponentially slows down the unpacking and decorating process. It can be done though, I assure you. We’ve done our share of bouncing around and moving – we’re a military family, after all. I get questions all the time about what it’s like living in base housing. We don’t really know what it’s like to not to live in base housing, or be allowed to paint your walls. We’ve made ourselves at home in this house – for as long as the Marine Corps lets us live here. A whole lot of crazy and chaos and love going on in these walls and I wouldn’t trade it, even for a house that doesn’t share a wall with our neighbors. 😉

So, there ya have it. Most of this house we get to call home until the Marine Corps makes us move! Of course, it’s only fitting that the only decent pictures I have of our room are complete with kids jumping on the bed. Because, real life.
